Gillian Ridgeway began her dog
training career as an apprentice in 1972, and has been involved in the
animal world ever since. She holds a diploma in animal health, along
with certificates in nutrition and dermatology. Her involvement as the
founding member of 2 dog training associations ensures that she remains
up to date on all current training issues.
Gillian has been featured on many television interviews,
radio talk shows, magazines and newspapers. As well, she is a feature
writer of Dogs, Dogs, Dogs newspaper and the CKC’s DOGS Annual. She
Gillian is an in-demand speaker at many trainer and Vet
Tech conferences and her warmth and humor attract a large audience. She
is a guest Lecturer at the University of Toronto, using dogs to shed
light on learning theory to the psychology students.
In her spare time, she travels with the International
SuperDogs Performance Team across Canada and USA.
Gillian’s dedication is to all dogs- regardless of age,
breed or background. She and the trainers under her direction have the
same vision…to help people understand their dogs, thereby living in
harmony with their canine companions.
